A refutation of Xinjiang Daily misinformation

The Xinjiang Daily published a report in its July issue titled “The World Uyghur Congress Cannot Flee From the crimes of Terrorism” and tried to substantiate its terrorist accusations with audio quotes claiming that it belonged to me. Firs of all,I would like to remind you that I consider the Uyghurs in Syria to be refugees who have fled oppression and are looking for a way out for the national independence of East Turkestan. Because of this, I am an activist who has issued a public call for their rescue in times of escalation of the war in Syria, and has been delivering this call to relevant agencies in countries such as the United States. The World Uyghur Congress and the East Turkestan Education Society are our leading and mainstream organizations that are truly at the forefront of advancing the cause of East Turkestan to the world and truly representing our people. The Nuzugum Society is also a charitable organization that has been serving Uyghur community. As in all countries and peoples of the world, among Uyghurs and organizations, we have different views and opinions on some issues, but our enemies are the same. Our ideals are common. So we have no disagreement with these organizations and activists on such a pressing issue as the issue of Uyghurs in Syria.
The audio file that the Chinese side claiming that it belonged to me was completely edited, which means that what I said in my private conversations with some people was stolen, altered, and distorted.
Through these false and misleading facts fabricated by Chinese state institutions using their technical advantages, it has once again tried to discredit the East Turkestan independence movement and create discord among East Turkestan activists. On this occasion, I would like to emphasize that so far there have been no terrorist organizations or Uyghur activists who have engaged in or advocated terrorism. Attempting to blackmail and annihilate this righteous struggle of liberating the people of East Turkestan from Chinese captivity with a terrorist hat is an easy way for China that it does not to give up in a hurry.
So I urge the international community not to be deceived by such false propaganda by Chinese government; If you are interested in knowing my opinion and position on the issue of Uyghurs in Syria, I urge you to read my statements published on the official website of the International Uyghur Human Rights and democracy Foundation.
